Missions We Support
Matthew 28:19-20 instructs us to “go.” TCCC Missions strives to fulfill this edict by prayerfully and financially supporting missionaries in the church, the community, the states and the world. Supporting various ministries gives TCCC the opportunity to help spread The Gospel throughout the world, introduce others to Jesus Christ, and establish relationships with Him through others.
The sign above our exit door states, “You Are Entering the Mission Field” and we believe this statement is each individual’s responsibility to take seriously. The Missions Team assists by providing information of missionaries needs both financial and spiritual, organizing and allocating financial support to different organizations, searching out other mission fields to support, and organizing outreach opportunities for TCCC to serve in our community.

House
Christian Foundation –
Ball State University
The Christian Campus House is located on the Ball State Campus at 1411 W Riverside Ave, Muncie, IN. The minister, Mike Pike, and his staff are responsible for worship, Bible studies, small groups, and a variety of activities during the fall and winter schedule of Ball State. They also provide a summer program for students still on or near campus.
The many activities and meals organized during the week encourage students to share their Christian journey with classmates and provide opportunities for outreach, fellowship, encouragement, growth and service to others.
The sign over the door as you exit the Campus House reads, “You Are Entering the Mission Field” and the Christian Foundation strives to equip students to live that out in their everyday lives.
Christian
Student
Fellowship of
Indianapolis
Christian Student Fellowship of Indianapolis is located on the IUPUI campus and is led by Campus Minister, Andrew Hodges.
The Christian community at IUPUI is dedicated to obeying Jesus Christ. Their mission is to pursue, model and teach intimacy with God at IUPUI in a Christian community. Through Life Groups, the students read, study, and pray over the Word of God.
Once a month, all Life Groups come together for a night of worship, enjoying fellowship, and sharing a meal.
TCCC supports CFS financially and encourages through prayer as well as providing a meal for the students during this monthly worship time. It is a special time that enables us share in their worship and encourage the students in their spiritual growth.
Compassion
Compassion International is a child-advocacy ministry pairing compassionate people with children living in extreme poverty to release the children from spiritual, economic, social, and physical poverty.
TCCC currently sponsors two children, Alimatou Guibourgou and Godbless Maphie. Alimatou Guibourgou is a 7-year-old girl from Burkina Faso, Buganda and Godbless Maphie is a 10-year-old boy from Tanzania in the hills of Nikoarange. Each month we write a letter of encouragement to each of them and they respond with letters and pictures of their families, friends, interests, and goals. They also let us know what they are currently doing on their farms, and in their schools and Bible studies. Our funding provides an opportunity for each of them to attend a school where The Word of God is taught, clothing and everyday essentials are provided, and children are encouraged spiritually.
Compassion Sunday at TCCC gives others an opportunity to adopt and support more children in the same manor TCCC Missions contributes with funding, prayers, and encouragement.
Cru
Haley & Geoffrey Wing
CRU is supported by individuals and churches who want to help the body of Christ grow through evangelism and discipleship. The campus is helping students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and go into the world to tell others.
Geoff and Haley, working with CRU on the Michigan University Campus and partnering with urban churches and special athletes’ programs, reach out to students and faculty in middle and high schools to meet physical and spiritual needs. They open their home to these students on a weekly, or more, basis to accomplish that goal. They lead Bible studies, assist in community service activities and encourage Christian fellowship. All of these opportunities help to provide the community of believers with opportunities to share God’s Word, serve others, and grow spiritually. CRU is equipping students to evangelize through their careers, ministries, preaching, teaching or missions work.

Derrick & Mikaela Shipley
Derrick & Mikaela, our newest missionaries, are sharing The Living Gospel in Norway. During the past few years, they have worked to raise the necessary support to get to Norway and begin their mission work. That milestone was accomplished this year (2020.)
They are now in Norway working with the IMI Church in sharing The Gospel. Currently they are learning the language and getting familiar with the country and people of Norway. Working with the IMI Church enables them to worship and be involved with the youth ministry.
TCCC continues to prayerfully and financially support the Shipley's in order to help them achieve their goals in Norway.

Local
Assistance
TCCC is committed to helping the people around us with immediate needs. What this looks like varies greatly, but in the past we have partnered with local businesses to provide assistance to those effected by the COVID-19 shutdown, and Kelly's Cupcake Connection in many different ways to provide fun and treats for our community. We hold periodic F.A.C.E.time events (Family And Community Events) for the community and participate in local events.
Regardless of what the activity is, our heart remains the same: To bring people to Jesus and to help people become like Jesus.
If you or someone you know needs assistance, contact the church so we can follow through our protocol in order to help.

Missions
Scholarships
TCCC believes that one of the best ways to fulfill The Great Commission is to equip the next generation for Christian ministry.
With that goal in mind, the TCCC Missions team offers scholarships to students who meet the criteria and are called into various forms of ministry from pastoring to worship arts.
This scholarship program also gives the congregation of TCCC an opportunity to prayerfully and financially support our youth.
